Hutch Trick Star 24" Frame and Fork Candy Blue

Trick Star 24" frame and fork. Everything you know and love about Hutch styling, with all technology and geometry updated for today's flatland freestyle. 4130 chromoly throughout, with a chrome-plated finish. Sold as a matched set of frame + forks + 30T sprocket.  The Trick Star 24" version includes the standing platform on the frame and removable brake mounts on the forks.

Forks include an M25 x 1.5 internally-threaded steer tube that is compatible with both star nuts and CNC-machined aluminum compression bolts. The Hutch Headset includes a star nut, or you can purchase a Hutch  aluminum compression bolt that is designed to work with the Hutch stem. Either method will work, but the Hutch stem and compression bolt is the ultimate setup.

The Trick Star 24" is designed for today's modern micro-gearing using a 30-13 gear ratio. This is a correct gear ratio for 24" frames, and some other brands who try to cash-in on 24" trends put a 25-9 ratio on their 24" bikes because it's easier and cheaper to do (but it is not a good ratio for 24" cruisers). Hutch is always designed with quality and the rider in mind, and that's why we designed the 24" Trick Star to include the 30-13 gear ratio! To do this, a custom 30T spline-drive sprocket was made exclusively for the Trick Star 24" builds. Exactly 50 Trick Star 24" frame/forks were made, and exactly 50 30T sprockets were made as well. The price INCLUDES the 30T sprocket, and when you place your order you must INCLUDE A NOTE WITH YOUR PREFERRED COLOR CHOICE for the sprocket  (color choices are limited to first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. BLUE IS SOLD OUT). There is a place to include order notes during the checkout process. As for your rear hub, you will want to choose a RACE hub with 3/8" axle diameter that has the ability to accept a 13T removable cog or freewheel. This is very common, and you will have no trouble finding hubs with these specs. And because you'll be looking for 3/8" axles front and rear, it will be much easier to find a matched pair of hubs that look great too! Everything else about this build will be standard-spec modern-technology components!
