FAQ's

Q: What kind of products are you working on?

A: We are concurrently working on 2 separate product lines: old-school and new-school. The old-school will be classic style and technology that ís meant to give the owner a feel for what BMX racing or freestyle was like in the beginning. The new-school line will be 100% new product with signature design-style characteristics of the old, but otherwise all new geometry and technology.

Q: What purpose are your products intended for?

A: Throughout the history of these brands, all products have been and currently are designed "for competition use only". "Street" use of these products without proper safety equipment such as helmets, protective pants with leg padding, gloves, proper shoes, and protective shirts with padding can be dangerous and cause severe injury. Proper use of the product, even in competition, must be maintained at all times. Misuse or abuse of components will void the warranty and will not be subject to replacement.

Q: What age group is your products intended for?

A: All products sold today are intended for age 18 and older. Back in the 1980's and under previous ownership, Hutch and CW manufactured products that were size-specific and intended for youth riders - a list of which is below. All of the items on that list are discontinued, and there is no plans to offer any products that are designed for riders less than 18 years old. The list of discontinued product includes:

          Hutch:

  • LiL Hole Shot frame and fork (chromoly)
  • LiL Hole Shot frame and fork (aluminum)
  • Mini Racer frame and fork
  • Junior Racer frame and fork (chromoly)
  • Junior Racer frame and fork (aluminum)
  • Mini Racer handlebars
  • Mini stem
  • Mini Magnesium headset
  • Mini Bear Trap pedals
  • Mini seat clamp (aluminum and magnesium)

          CW Racing:

  • Micro Mini Phaze 1 frame and fork
  • Micro Mini frame and fork
  • Ultra Mini frame and fork
  • XM-Mini frame and fork
  • ZM frame and fork
  • Junior Phaze 1 frame and fork
  • Junior handlebars (aluminum)

Note: Pit Bikes having a 16" wheel size are not included on the discontinued list due to the fact that throughout the history of BMX racing, Pit Bikes were typically regarded as novelty bikes and ridden by riders that were disproportionally larger than the bike (similar to circus clown bicycles). Being that Pit Bike riding is a tradition typically found in the 1980ís and not as prevalent today, it is realized that the purchasing consumer of Pit Bikes is not only 18+, but is actually typically in the age range of 30's and 40's.

Q: I have an old Hutch (or CW) bicycle that I am looking to sell. Do you buy old bikes?

A: Yes. I buy complete bikes, individual parts, stickers, clothing, and BMX magazines such as BMX Action, BMX Plus, Super BMX, Total BMX, and Bicycles and Dirt. Any condition. Please use the Contact Us form and send a description.
